the WarDen team is responsible for the data WarDen uses. Here we explain what data is used, what for and for how long.
Data about the subscriber
- Your Discord ID and name, so you can sign in to the website and the panel.
- The list of servers you manage, only during the purchase so you can pick one. We only keep the server you subscribed.
- If you connect your X account: your X app keys and the permission X gives to post are stored encrypted. WarDen only uses them to publish your tournament posts (the ones you approve with the button or, if you choose, automatically) and deletes them when you disconnect your account or delete the keys.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. WarDen does not see or store card numbers; it only keeps the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe provides.
Data about players on servers that use WarDen
- Discord ID and name, teams, results, kills, ranks, sign-ups and the result screenshots players upload.
- If the server uses EVS: the report the player voluntarily generates on their PC (technical information about the machine needed to look for cheats, such as programs, folder names, connected devices and drivers) or the photos of their console and setup. WarDen compares those names with its cheat list, keeps only what matches and discards the rest. EVS does not open your documents or photos, does not disable anything, does not read Discord messages or files and does not send the network card's MAC address.
- The staff action log (who used which command and when).
What it is used for
To run the tournaments, the ranks (including the global rank), the EVS verification and the blacklist, to provide support and to charge the subscription. We do not sell data or show ads.
Who sees it
Each server's administrators see their server's data. the WarDen team can see it to provide support. Shared blacklist notices (player name and ID, reason and proof) are seen by the servers that use WarDen. For the global rank, other WarDen servers only see the player's rank, how many maps they have played and on how many servers; never which servers or their results. Data is stored on Railway servers and payments on Stripe, in the United States.
How long
While the server has WarDen active. When a subscription ends, that server's data is kept for 30 days in case it comes back and then it is deleted. Blacklist notices already shared with other servers stay on those servers.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to [email protected]. If you are a player, you can also ask your server's administrator.
