These terms apply to WarDen, the Discord bot and this website, operated by the WarDen team. By subscribing to or using WarDen you accept these terms.
WarDen is a tool to run video game tournaments inside Discord: sign-ups, results, tables, brackets, player verification (EVS), a shared blacklist, a web panel and pages for streams. WarDen does not organize tournaments, does not set rules or prizes, and does not collect or pay out players' entry fees or prizes. Each administrator is responsible for their tournaments, their rules, their prizes and for following the laws of their country and the rules of Discord and of each game.
Plans are purchased per Discord server and charged every month in US dollars (USD) through Stripe. The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Whoever subscribes must own the server or have permission to manage it. If we change a price, we will let you know at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription.
The first 5 servers that subscribe get 30 days free. During the trial the server has every WarDen feature; when it ends it stays on the subscribed plan and its features. A card is required to start the trial. When the trial ends Stripe automatically charges the first month, unless you cancel before. There is one trial per server and per Discord account.
You can cancel anytime from My account. WarDen keeps working until the period you already paid ends and then it turns off on that server. The details are in the cancellation and refund policy.
You may not use WarDen to scam, harass, run illegal gambling, publish other people's data without reason, or break the rules of Discord or of the games. We may suspend a server that does this.
EVS is a support tool for each server's staff: it may not detect every cheat and it may flag things that need a manual review. Decisions to approve, reject or ban belong to each server's staff. On the shared blacklist, the server that reports a player is responsible for the reason and the proof it uploads, and it is the one that can remove it. Each server decides whether it also bans the player.
We do our best to keep WarDen running at all times, but there may be outages or pauses for maintenance, because of Discord or because of our providers. WarDen is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for WarDen in the last 3 months.
We may update these terms. If a change is important we will let you know on the website or on Discord before it applies.
